A relative newcomer, The Adult Toy Shoppe features thousands of sex toys and several useful sex toy guides for shoppers looking for a little extra help.  The site features a good selection of toys including penis pumps, pleasure balls & clit toys, but the fact that they are so new in an industry that is so old puts them at a sever disadvantage.

Take for example, the name of the store.  Not only did they have to settle for a domain with the word “the” at the beginning, but they had to go with the UK spelling for the word “shop”.  Apparently, they believe that by including a very large block of text on their homepage this will help their organic search engine rankings.  That’s great for Google, but not really for the shopper since it contains very little useful information.

Overall,The Adult Toy Shoppe is making a worthwhile attempt to break into the adult toy market against giants like Adam & Eve, ErotoToys & Eden Fantasys, but they apparently have a lot to learn.  For example they tout their desire to bring piece of mind to customers that they will never be sold a used item by having a “no returns or exchanges” policy.  They can’t even offer you a refund if you are unhappy with your order, which is kind of ridiculous.
